How it works
Guess today's Steam game in six tries. Every wrong guess unlocks a new clue — and tells you how close you were.
- One well-known Steam game a day — the same puzzle for everyone, new at 00:00 UTC.
- You start with the genre and the decade. Each miss opens a sharper clue: a one-line description with the title hidden, its rarest Steam tags, the header image (blurred, a little clearer after every miss), what fans of it also play, and finally who made it.
- Every guess gets a temperature: how close it is to the answer by the same similarity our recommender uses, from Cold to Hot, with its rank (#1 is the closest game).
- The tiles compare the facts like Wordle: green match, orange close, grey miss, and the arrows point toward the answer.

Where do the clues come from?
From data imho.run collects for its recommender: review-mined complaints and moods, the "players compare it to" graph built from Steam reviews, and co-play patterns across the Steam libraries we analyze. Numbers like price, year and review score come straight from the Steam store.
Which games can be the answer?
Only well-known Steam games with at least 20,000 reviews — no DLC, no obscure indies. If you've spent some time on Steam, you've heard of every answer.
Do I need an account?
No. Your streak and stats are saved in this browser only.
Is the year the original release?
It's the Steam release year. Games that left Early Access show both dates, and a few older games arrived on Steam years after their console release.
