What we read from Steam
When you sign in with Steam OpenID or paste a SteamID, imho.run reads only what your Steam profile already shows publicly: your owned games, hours played, and (for ranking-quality reasons) the last time each game was played. We never request access to friend lists, chat, transactions, or anything behind your Steam credentials. Steam OpenID does not give us your password.
What stays with us
Your library snapshot, the swipes you make in Tinder mode, and the anchor games you pick are stored so that the recommender can refine your next batch of picks. Nothing is shared with advertisers or sold to third parties — there are no advertisers and there is no third party.
Cookies
imho.runuses one HTTP-only session cookie when you sign in with Steam — without it we can’t keep you logged in across requests. A separate consent cookie remembers whether you’ve dismissed the consent banner. No third-party tracking cookies are set.
Removing your data
Email [email protected] from any address with your SteamID and we’ll delete the library and swipe history attached to it.
